Role of the teacher

Whoever touches the life of the child touches the most sensitive point of a whole which has roots in the most distant past and climbs toward the infinite future.

The teacher creates and maintains the environment. She guides the children and helps them to learn their lessons. The teacher is not the children’s center of the attention, but rather enthuses children to make discoveries with the aid of materials. She observes the children all the time, noting their progress and stimulating them to meet new challenges.

The teachers are trained to be understanding and respectful to children. They are to follow the children’s natural interests, and feed them through constructive activity. They are to lead them to independence, reasoning, respect and love through their noble characteristics of patience, self-control, love and humility on the path of perfecting themselves for the job.
