Our day starts with Montessori activities in our prepared classrooms with beautiful materials in four areas of learning. Early breakfast menu, and later fruit snack are available to children throughout the morning. Morning is concluded by circle time, where children discuss different topics from our curriculum, learn songs, and experience community feeling through celebration of birthdays and sharing about their lives at home. After an hour in our spacious garden, we have lunch. Young children take necessary rest after lunch. Older children are divided into groups based on the age, and apply their creativity and skills during specially designed afternoon activities. These include weekly:
Ceramics – our kiln enables us to create useful & decorative objects for different purposes
Science Experiments – early exposure to simple observations
Baking – a favorite among the afternoons, and we take our delicious creations home to share with our families
Arts & Crafts – experiencing different materials & techniques to enhance the understanding of topics we learn about
Hidden Gems – stories, games & songs to develop upright character
The rest of the afternoon is free for games, reading, building, drawing and other activities that enable everyone to relax after a fruitful day.
